krisstina wise - principal

who is krisstina wise? at first glance you might see her as just the owner of the goodlife team, inc. what you might not know about krisstina is her uncommon ambition and passion towards life as a highly regarded leader, entrepreneur, visionary, national master trainer, business coach, mentor, advisor, role model, athlete, wife and mother.

krisstina isn’t content to be one of the country’s top realtors. though her goodlife team real estate practice ranks in the top 1% nationwide and she is in demand as a trainer, speaker and coach for leading international real estate companies, krisstina’s vision is to redefine real estate itself. through advanced adoption of innovative technologies, an entrepreneurial spirit, a desire to move into new frontiers and a far-reaching commitment to service, her true mission is to dramatically improve, expand and enrich the real estate client experience.

as an entrepreneur, krisstina launched agent elf in 1998. the first asp real estate systems management and crm tool, agent elf delivered advanced software and a dedication to real estate transformation. it quickly achieved a dominant position in the industry.

in 2005 her next high tech venture was as co-founder of onepoint referral, a national online agent-to-agent referral company designed to replace the antiquated fax-and-wait referral system still used by most realtors®. instead of just faxing a client’s information to another realtor® and waiting to hear back, realtors® using onepoint referral automated the entire process. onepoint referral vastly improved communication during the agent-to-agent referral process, thereby helping the referring agents collect referral fees at a much higher rate than the old system. the system even enabled clients to rate agents based on service to improve the overall quality of the client experience.

during the same time that krisstina was innovating new real estate technology, she was also building her business’ brand and technology. krisstina designed goodlifeteam.com to be a perfect match for high-tech austin. sprinting beyond the antiquated systems common in the tradition-bound world of real estate, krisstina’s web strategy embraces google, yahoo, trulia, craigslist, itunes, iphones, blogs, chats, webinars, text messaging, instant messaging, podcasting and interactive maps. there’s even wireless internet access throughout the renovated warehouse office in east austin – including the peaceful outdoor zen space.

then there’s the personal, one-on-one service, the kind that no technology can replace. the goodlife team models itself after the world’s top service companies, with an emphasis on unrivaled service and hospitality. krisstina’s bookshelf is full of tomes on service secrets. in team meetings they regularly study videos on customer service and uncommon business practices. in quiet annual retreats they explore new service frontiers, as a result, team members go out of their way to take care of goodlife team clients’ needs; quite often well beyond real estate transactions.

when krisstina isn’t leading her team or envisioning new real estate technology ventures, she is a leading business and real estate trainer, often conducting two-day seminars for hundreds of the country’s top real estate agents. she more recently added consulting and one-on-one coaching to her repertoire.

in her free time, krisstina is busy raising two teenagers with her husband and business partner, garry, training for marathons and giving back to the community. if you spend any time with her you will hear her say, “i am very lucky. i have an incredible family, a great business and a good life.”  any question where the name of her business comes from? “i want my business to be a way to offer the good life to others. isn’t that what we are all really after?” as part of the good life, in 2005, she reached a personal milestone by successfully qualifying for and completing the boston marathon. in 2006, she accepted an invitation to be on the board of directors for planet cancer, a non-profit organization that helps young adults with cancer. in 2007, krisstina chaired planet cancer’s annual fundraiser and was instrumental in increasing the event’s revenue by over 500%. in 2008, she was asked to be chairman of the board of directors of planet cancer, a leadership position she took great pride in accepting.

if you ask krisstina what’s next, you’ll learn more about her uncommon vision. she is working to launch the newest division of the goodlife team – lifestyle insurance – and is excited to be able to extend goodlife peace of mind to yet another domain of real estate. you will also see her big smile as she tells you about the developer division of the goodlife team. it is a recent launch that is unrivaled in the real estate industry; once again not the common real estate experience. and finally, you will have to think big to be able to envision what she has planned as her next entrepreneurial adventure. she is building a strategy to roll out a national ‘virtual’ real estate company that will truly bring together real estate and the technology of today – fused in the 2.0 world to offer real estate agents and consumers the “new real estate experience.”

garry wise - principal/commerical & investor specialist

garry moved away from austin in 1996 to pursue a lifelong dream of being a ski patroller in colorado. in april of 1997, his father unexpectedly died in his sleep. garry left colorado that day to help his mother salvage and re-build their small real estate practice and has since built it to be the creath team, a very successful and well-known business in austin.

garry fell in love with his competitor, krisstina wise, and in june of 2006, they married in colorado and then returned to austin to merge their two real estate firms.

krisstina and garry now own and operate the goodlife team together. garry is fortunate to have the opportunity to spend so much time with krisstina, both professionally and personally. because of their mutual ambition, they combined the firms to form the goodlife team’s current structure of professionals whom work synergistically to market and sell commercial properties, residential homes, luxury homes, waterfront estates, investment properties, and residential developments for their clients. in addition to owning and operating a real estate marketing and sales business, krisstina and garry own and manage a real estate portfolio in austin.

krisstina and garry have an awesome, passionate, respectful, and loving marriage. they share their love with their 2 wonderful children, both of whom are honest, compassionate, intelligent, and beautiful. while not at the office, you can find garry with his family; they will be cycling, skiing, running, or otherwise simply enjoying life and the blessings they share.

brett murry - buyer specialist

brett is always looking for the next adventure. he has found it with the goodlife team!

brett was born and raised in salt lake city, utah, where he developed a great love of the mountains and outdoor adventure. he was snow skiing by the age of 12, and soon found that camping, biking, hiking, really anything outside, was what really made him tick.

looking for a new adventure, brett moved to austin 8 years ago. as soon as he caught a glimpse of the zilker park hike and bike trail, he knew he was home. "there is no other city that has what austin has to offer." after working for a local ad agency in austin, brett realized he needed a new challenge. real estate was something brett always had an interest in and felt, as a bonafide austinite, he knew the city was what he wanted to sell.

during his ten year tenure as a production manager for an advertising agency, he learned that he had a gift for negotation, as he was always the first to find the "middle ground." his calm demeanor and the ability to solve any problem make him a valuable asset on any real estate transaction.

brett lives "the good life." the first thing you notice when you meet him is his big smile. you can't help but wonder what makes him so happy. when not at work, brett can be found running with his two dogs, kona and ziggy, riding his mountain bike, listening to live music, or just spending time with his wife, nicole, the love of his life. brett is always up for a challenge and his motto is "what doesn't kill you, makes you stronger."

scott wiley - buyer specialist

scott hails from a small farm town in missouri, where everyone knows everyone and waves at each other when driving by on the road (an incredible phenomenon!). he is the baby of six children, so he learned how to survive at an early age, being tied up in the barn only twice by his siblings.

scott left farm life for springfield, mo, where he graduated with a bachelor of science, cum laude, from southwest missouri state university. after a stint on the west coast in orange county, california, he moved to austin, a town that he now calls home.

he has been realtor in the austin area since 2000. in the summer of 2003, he “WISEed” up and joined krisstina and her family of professionals. he loves the fantastic atmosphere and the incredible service the team provides to clients. and most of all, scott feels blessed and honored to be able to help people find just the right home in austin.

when he’s not working, scott loves hanging out with friends, enjoying great meals with fine wine, and playing with his shitzu. he also likes to stay active and is always looking forward to the next great camping trip or rock climb. you might even see him doing tai chi in the office!

since she was a little kid, aida had a curiosity for attending open houses.  to aida a home is not just a house, but a home where memories are made.  this is the reason she decided to start her career in new home sales.  aida worked for a reputable national home builder for 3 years as a sales consultant.  her understanding of the home buying process from a buyer’s prospective puts aida in the perfect position to work and take care of the concerns of our buyers.

grant was born and raised in beautiful fredericksburg, texas, one of the nations greatest rural cities.  it offers wonderful food and wine, unique shopping stores, and the friendliest people in texas.

grant left fredericksburg for san marcos where he graduated with a bachelor of science in accounting as well as an mba, with an emphasis in accounting. 

following a brief stay in the accounting field, grant now practices real estate along side krisstina wise and the goodlife team.  he loves the energetic and up beat atmosphere, but most of all, he loves that the goodlife team is dedicated to taking care of their clients and fulfilling their needs. 

when he is not working, you can find grant on the golf course, at the longhorn football games, or in fredericksburg enjoying family, food, and wine!

michelle winchell - client care coordinator

it was a leap of faith that brought michelle to austin from santa barbara. she spent much of her free time getting to know the city for the past five years and was finally certain that the life she wanted was waiting in austin. her decision was validated almost immediately when the city welcomed her with the great fortune that brought her to the goodlife team.

after studying corporate communications and sociology at unlv michelle decided that the unpredictability and fast pace of real estate would be a great fit for the future. because of the focus in her studies and her enthusiasm for helping people in general she holds customer service in the highest regard. with her four years experience in real estate to date she has the tools to contribute to the utmost customer satisfaction a client can depend on when working with the goodlife team.

tammy kroop - customer experience & marketing services

tammy is our techno-savvy marketing specialist and is responsible for all marketing activities for the goodlife team.  in addition, her attention to detail helps keep our team organized and efficient.  she also is tasked with the responsibility of keeping up with scheduling the activities for krisstina. now that is one tough job!

when she isn’t working, you will more than likely find tammy sweating it out at a bikram yoga studio. tammy has been practicing yoga for three years, and finds that the lessons of determination, focus and patience can be applied outside of the yoga room on a daily basis.

before joining the goodlife team, tammy worked for three years at the international office of keller williams realty. she is not a native austinite but has been here for 14 years and would not consider living anywhere else. “austin just has so much to offer, whether it’s shopping, eating, hanging out with friends, or outdoor activities.”

judy wise - contract to close specialist

every team needs someone like judy. she keeps everything running smoothly at the goodlife team. and krisstina knew she needed judy in particular, since she’s known judy her whole life.

judy attended 14 different schools before graduating high school, living everywhere from puerto rico to amarillo, texas. she met krisstina’s dad and married him, so she has the unique perspective of knowing krisstina since she was just “knee high to a grasshopper.” judy says krisstina was always very competitive, athletic and tenacious.

after working in the commercial property management industry for years, she landed in austin. krisstina’s business was booming, and so she went to work for the goodlife team.

judy enjoys the personal approach of the team, feeling much more of a stake in the business than she has anywhere else. she loves the challenge of managing closings and making sure everything stays perfectly on track with the sale of homes, including all transactions, finances, and contracts.

when she’s not working, she loves to work in her yard, go to the gym, knit and crochet, and grill out in the texas heat.

anika blanco - seller relations manager

anika was born in the rio grande valley but raised in san antonio, texas. she is an only child, consequently is very independent.  from the time she was a little girl she had an affinity for the arts and a creative eye. after attending several universities she graduated from texas state university in may 2007 with a degree in communication design.

after meeting the goodlife team she knew there was no other place for her to learn the lessons of business and life. besides sharing krisstina’s vision for impeccable design, anika enjoys building close relationships with clients and being a part of one of the biggest steps in someone’s life.

away from work, anika enjoys live music and dancing. she also loves to shop and find those great bargains.
