Apple Recognizes The GoodLife Team as Power Users of the iPad
Real-Estate Agents are always on the move, but have long been tethered to the office due to the nature of the paper-reliant Industry. In the past, after showing a home to clients, it was necessary to travel all the way back to the office where a contract was drafted, printed and signed. This inconvenient fact of the business isn’t fun for the client, and frankly, wasn’t fun for us either!
Today’s customers expect – and deserve – to have instant assistance and ease of mind, to be able to act quickly in order to ensure that the home they’ve fallen in love with doesn’t slip away.
When the iPad was released, The GoodLife Team viewed this innovative new mobile platform as an opportunity to provide better, faster service for our clients. The Executive Team began running our daily business on the iPad and started tinkering with and trying out different Apps. In time they acquired a set of tools that enabled The GoodLife Team to deliver exceptional customer service. With the iPad, our Agents can easily get detailed information about homes while out with their clients, calculate mortgage payments on site, write contracts without driving back to the office and give customers the ability to electronically sign and submit them using the touch of a finger. What’s not to love? In 2011, the Executive Team told the GoodLife Team members to prepare for a move to full-time use of the Apple iPad.
The GoodLife Team adopted the iPad into our essential business practices because it made sense for our customers and for our Team. Little did we know that The GoodLife Team would be the first to organization in the Real Estate Industry to become 100% iPad users. Through our good friends at the national real estate news organization, Inman News, Apple heard about what we were doing with our iPads. Because they were interested in learning how we use their product to better serve our customers, they sent a video crew to Austin, TX and spent a few days documenting our practices. After learning about us, Apple recognized the The GoodLife Team as Power Users of the iPad!
