Bouldin rounds up Texas with Roadhouse Relics

Are you interested in modern vintage decor? If you happen to be wandering around South 1st Street, Bouldin neighborhood, satiate your interest in art by dropping by Roadhouse Relics: vintage-style neon signs from scratch.

Located in the heart of the Bouldin neighborhood, Roadhouse Relics started 15 years ago by the artist Todd Sanders. He specializes in making custom neon signs and his inspiration comes from the mid-century American pop culture. As a self-proclaimed urban archaeologist, Todd drives around the country in search for relics of handmade signs during the 20th century.



Roadhouse Relics is a fun spot to visit in Bouldin; it is commonly recognized for the “Austin” postcard painted on the side of the building.

When you stop by to visit the gallery, you will be able to walk through and see the different art masterpiece on display and also a walk through the backyard display.

This unique store has been acknowledged by celebrities Norah Jones, Russell Crowe, ZZTop and Johnny Depp.

Roadhouse Relics has also been featured in movies and TV shows like Friday Night Lights, Spy Kids, The Rookie, Miss Congeniality, Where the Heart Is… and many others
