garry moved away from austin in 1996 to pursue a lifelong dream of being a ski patroller in colorado. in april of 1997, his father unexpectedly died in his sleep. garry left colorado that day to help his mother salvage and re-build their small real estate practice and has since built it to be the creath team, a very successful and well-known business in austin.

garry fell in love with his competitor, krisstina wise, and in june of 2006, they married in colorado and then returned to austin to merge their two real estate firms.

cara keenan - senior associate

cara’s roots have been firmly planted in austin, texas since 1977; “i love this city!” with so much history, diverse cultures, beautiful rolling landscape, lakes, live music, and sunshine…no wonder people move here- fall in love and never leave. from 1 year of age cara was influenced by her mother's austin real estate practice. "my mom loves telling the story of how she used to take my sister and i along in her car to preview homes for her clients."  experiences like these combined with cara's background in technology sales and study of design at university of texas compelled her to pursue a real estate career. cara's ambition from the start was to "not be" a typical, ordinary, mediocre austin real estate agent. collectively she put her background and skills to work along with a passion for learning to produce an uncommon customer experience.
 
in november of 2001 cara earned her texas real estate license, joined the austin board of realtors®, and started her career learning under a top performer and highly respected professional in the industry, maggie falvey, her mother and broker. earlier that year she fell in love with her future husband, joe keenan, who just so happened to be buying his first austin home from maggie. they married in 2002 and went into business together.
